Great house + great experience

"Very, very nice oceanfront house for 2 young families w/ 4 small kids and 2 grandparents (6 adults and 4 small children in total). Location is perfect. Easy access to the beach and quick walk to town. House is very well stocked, so no need to pack heavy. Beach and water are incredible. I'd definitely recommend anyone interested in Rosemary Beach/ Inlet Beach have a look at this property. Just a few minor items worth mentioning: -The house is a little on the pricier end given the size. It's a big house w/ a fun layout, but there are really only 3 bedrooms large enough for adults. The rest are either bunk rooms for kids or really designed to be a nursery/ office. It worked for us and I'm sure it would be great for up to 3 families w/ kids who can all bunk together, but probably gets too tight w/ more than 3 families. There's also no bonus area where the kids can be segregated, so everything happens on the main level which is open b/w the kitchen, dining room, and living room. This was ok for our group b/c kids were younger (four under the age of 4), but could be an issue for a larger group w/ older kids. -Also, the internet connectivity is absolutely awful. The house is too big for extenders which is what they have and I think the house was built to be hurricane resistant which seems to impede basically all signals throughout the home, so not sure what can be done. Property management company was super responsive during our stay and provided a hotspot, but that didn't do much to fix the problems. The wifi is barely serviceable if you have the luxury of completely disconnecting while on vacation, but it's definitely a problem if you need to be connected for work. -The house also doesn't cool very well. Despite having the HVAC set at 70 for the entirety of the visit and the unit running full time, the temp on the main level wouldn't come below ~76 -78 despite it not being all that hot outside. It's a big, open floor plan w/ lots of windows so that's definitely part of it. The rest of the house was generally ok even if a little warm, but the main level needs some attention when it comes to cooling b/c it can be borderline uncomfortable if you don't run cold. Great house though and we'd definitely consider coming back, but just needs a few minor fixes.

Beat beachfront home in 30A

"Two houses from Rosemary without out all the crowded Rosemary rules, we love this house. And will keep coming back. Great neighborhood, not many rentals, pool is nice and we can walk to Shades. Fantastic value. The home is new and 6 bedrooms with huge bunk room accommodates everyone with space. It’s 4100 square feet in the ocean.

Never disappointed at 224 Winston Lane

"This is our second time at 224 Winston Lane, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The covered porch on the main level is perfect for the whole family to enjoy, whether day or night. I truly appreciate the recent change to turn the office on the main level into a bedroom with twin bed and crib. It became the perfect spot for our toddlers. Will continue to come back!

Could live on this patio forever

"We have two little kids so this is our first beach trip in a while. We wanted it to be good. This house certainly did not disappoint. It had everything. The upstairs office area holds two cribs and it’s actually worked out perfectly for our 1.5 and 3.5 year old. Plus we could hear them wake from the master. This patio however is EVERYTHING. Plan on spending hours there. The only concern with little kids is the heavy concrete tables...the tops are not attached so I was a little uneasy with these (but I’m uneasy with a lot). The kitchen was perfect for all meals. The beds were comfy. The place was clean and well stocked. The only “trouble” was getting most of the doors closed and locked (the latches weren’t easy). I would stay here a million times over. The master bath boasts the most beautiful sunset...but just get down to the beach...it’s literally steps away.
