Welcome to Giant's Rest, a serene getaway nestled in the tranquil community of Inlet Beach. This newly furnished coastal retreat spans three stories and boasts six bedrooms and four bathrooms, offering an idyllic setting for a beach vacation. Admire the stunning gulf views and captivating sunsets from the dual outdoor decks, while the private pool below invites relaxation.
The third floor showcases a luxurious master bedroom and bath, featuring access to a shared balcony with panoramic ocean views and a refreshing sea breeze. Start your day with a sunrise on the balcony or unwind in the evening to the soothing sounds of the ocean waves. This floor also includes a second master bedroom with a private bath, both sharing the balcony and breathtaking vistas.
On the second floor, the living, dining, and kitchen area awaits, along with two bedrooms accommodating up to eight guests. The living area is equipped with a 60" HDTV and a Blu-ray Sony Play Station, perfect for entertainment. The spacious family-style dining area comfortably seats 10 guests with additional seating for up to 18. A well-appointed kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and ample cookware completes the space. Additionally, a colorful bunk room and a queen bedroom with access to an outdoor deck offer cozy retreats on this floor.

"We always LOVE Giant’s Rest. Close to everything, yet quiet and calm. Beach days and pool nights. Seating areas for morning coffee, afternoon snacks at the pool, and nightly cocktails… this house has it all. Great for entertaining large groups and multiple generations, but has plenty of space to spread out for privacy. Lots of memories to be made for sure!! It is our very favorite place!

"This is our annual family Gathing and Giant's Rest makes it so easy! We have already booked for our fourth year in a row. The house has everything you need, just bring your suits and clothes and food and you are set! Of course, don't forget sunscreen. The beach chairs were all new and so was the gas grill. The owner and paradise properties are great and easy to work with and very quick to answer any questions or issues that come up. We had a broken shower rod and within the hour they were there to fix it! Once again, the children love the big screen TV's and of course the downstairs refrigerator is a life saver for loading and heading to the short walk to the beach! We also enjoyed the cornhole around the pool. Keep up the good work Ms. Jennifer!! Look forward to our visit next year once again.

"Our family group consisted of 7 kids and 5 adults. We had an amazing time at Inlet beach, with this house being a big part of the experience. While the pool wasn't huge, we never felt it was too small for the members of our group that wanted to take a dip. Their were 3 wagons that helped make the 5 minute walk to the beach easier to tote tons of chairs and toys; we also appreciated the complimentary, daily beach chair/umbrella service. Close to everything you'd want to be near: <5 minutes from Rosemary; ~20 minutes from either Seaside or Grayton. Incredible!

"This house was PERFECT for our 4 families, with 8 adults and 7 children. There was plenty of space to lose one another despite having so many people. The rooms were perfect, beds were comfortable, pool was amazing, and we loved the neighborhood. The whole experience was flawless. After reading the guest book at the house, we understood why families return to this gem year after year. We hope to become one of them. Thank you, Jennifer for helping make our vacation a dream.

"This is our second year in a row, and everything was perfect! The beach was absolutely unbelievable. The house is exactly what we need for our large family to gather! The children remembered the house layout and girls had downstairs room and boys in the bunk room! The living room and 3 decks were well used. Boys on one girls on another and adults on last one! We brought our golf cart which comes in handy, however its less than a 3-block walk to beach and crosses no major roads. There is a convenance store within walking distance that carries a lot of items you may run out of, however there is a publix within two mile either direction. You also can walk to Shades restaurant for lunch or supper. The kids enjoy the pool after a day at the beach and the hanging lights at Nite time. The house has everything you need to cook and relax. You only need to supply the groceries and yourself! We used the outside grill numerous times and the extra-large refrigerator downstairs makes it easy to load the ice chests for the beach! Also having beach chairs and towels makes the packing a lot easier. We have already booked our stay for next year for our third stay at Giant's Rest!

A 2 year old can walk....

"This year marks our sixth summer at Giant's Rest. Surely that tells you all you need to know. The home is well-maintained and spacious. It is so close to the beach our two-year-old grandson can walk the entire distance. The pool is the perfect size with a secluded, private backyard. The owners immediately attend to every question. Years prior we continued to try other homes for the family. The search is over! We have already booked the 2024 trip!

Exceeded expectations

"Giant's Rest was the perfect place for our large family including 5 grandchildren. The home had the best equipped kitchen ever as well as a huge amount of beach supplies. The beach equipment included a wagon, 2 beach carts, more than a dozen beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers, umbrellas, etc! We appreciated access to the garage for storing our bikes and other equipment plus loved the extra refrigerator. The outdoor space was fabulous; table for 10 adults plus picnic table for littles, updated landscaping, nice pool, grill, etc. The home was comfortable with more than enough space to gather, especially for Monday Night Football! Access to beach was as described; a 3 block walk to the beach with one set of stairs to go down to the beach. The owner Jennifer as well as Paradise Properties were responsive to our needs and very gracious. I highly recommend this property for large family gatherings.

"One of the nicest places we have stayed at in the area. Well stocked with everything you need. Short walk to beach, restaurants and Rosemary beach. The pool was great with the fenced in yard as the weather was cool and breezy on the beach, but perfect at the pool.

"Once again, a great time was had in this house. It feels like a home. We have been here before, and the owners continue to have all things which make a stay welcoming. They continue to improve the house with new items like the new fencing and grass areas! The kitchen has everything to make it easy to cook in, and save! We do enjoy eating out at the many good restaurants in the area, but it is nice to be able to make meals in when we want to. There were all new smart TV's and therefore, it was nice to hit our Netflix for movies. Bring your bathing suit and shorts...and golf clubs (I play out at Windswept Dunes...great course!) We love the soft sand beach! It is a quiet place for us.

"A beautiful home with many amenities for the family! Incredibly good location! Brand new decks with much new seating. Set up for large gatherings. Absolutely fantastic bedrooms with the best being the main bedroom with a 3rd level with comfortable seating....perfect for an evening drink while watching the beautiful sunsets!!!... A very nice private warm pool with seating all around. Many tables and chair sets on all levels of the house. We loved the Weber Grill. All bedrooms have TV! High Speed Internet is present, which was a big plus. This is a comfortable place!

"To start, we would definitely book again. The owner was very responsive, probably the best we’ve ever interacted with and rented from. Also, this was probably one of the cleanest houses we’ve rented which is a big plus. Trying to consider what sets this house apart from other rentals, to help those considering this house, here are a few thoughts. The floor plan was really good, with lots of room for everyone and no “bad” bedrooms. The beds and linens were comfortable and plentiful and of nice quality. Between the number of TV’s, satellite, couches, dining tables, consistently good wi-fi, games, nice furnishings, two large refrigerator/freezers, a really well-stocked kitchen (including a wine fridge, plenty of glass and dish ware, crockpot, etc), plus boogie boards, soft pool toys, beach chairs and carts, and a large Weber gas grill, this was a particularly well-stocked house, something to consider especially if flying to your vacation. Compared to some of the newer surrounding houses, this one had plenty of well-furnished porches, plus outdoor space around the pool. It also had treed space separating it from neighbors, which gave some privacy. The walk to the beach was easy and neighborly, particularly with the provided beach wagons/carts. It was a nice stroll to the amenities of Rosemary Beach, providing a combination of the peacefulness of Inlet Beach with activities of nearby communities. All in all, this house provided a nice vacation and was good value-for-money. Recommend.

"Home was very nicely equipped with almost everything you might need. Reasonably short walk to the beach (not as far as it looks on Google Maps), and the provided beach carts made hauling your stuff easy. Very comfortable beds & plenty of space for the family, nice gas grill, and very nice pool & back yard for relaxing after the beach.

"This was our second stay at this beautiful home. My family of 12 stays on 30A every year. We have stayed at many houses but really love Giant's Rest. The house and pool was neat and clean. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes and pots and pans. It is a short walk to the beach. The weather was beautiful and hopefully we will be back next year!

"The home is exactly as pictured. Everything was super clean, stylish, and well-maintained. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. They kitchen is very well-stocked. I can't think of a single thing we needed that the kitchen didn't provide. There are so many little extras: iron, ironing board, beach toys, beach chairs, games, books, pool floats, toaster oven, etc. The owner and managers have thought of everything.
The managers, Paradise Properties, are very helpful. We had a problem with the grill and they came out the very next morning to fix it. They also rent bikes, kayaks, and can give you the names of vendors that provide beach chair service and bonfires. We recommend the folks at the-rental-shop dot com for bonfires.
Its a very short walk to the Wall Street Beach. If you prefer to drive, you can park at the Orange Street Beach. Neither beach is crowded.
We brought our bikes to ride the Timpoochee Trail along 30A. There are a lot of small beach towns along the trail (Rosemary Beach, Seacrest, Alys Beach) that have plenty of shops and restaurants and even a farmers market twice a week. It can get crowded but its not bad. Once you pass Alys, the crowds disappear and you see a lot of beautiful scenery. It gets so congested at Seaside that you have to walk your bikes.
The Donut Hole is within walking distance on 98 and has awesome donuts. Shades Bar & Grill is also within walking distance and is mediocre despite the high prices. We thought the taco stand and donut truck in Alys Beach were good. We also liked the food Cowgirl Kitchen in Seaside despite the less than stellar cashier. Bayou Bill's Crab House in Panama City Beach (next to Winn Dixie) is super tacky but has really good food.
Publix, Winn Dixie, and CVS are only 2 miles east on 98. Be aware that Publix is very crowded on Saturdays but they have plenty of cashiers and there is not a long wait. You can even order a specialty cake there and they will have it ready the next day! And their cakes are great!
Overall, we highly recommend this home and hope to go back someday!

Perfect get-a-way for a large group

"Giant's rest is a perfect get-a-way for a large group that has everything one might need for a relaxing vacation. This is the third year our family has stayed at the property and we are already planning our 2017 visit. There are 12 people in our extended family, ages 5 months to 74 - three generations. The house is spacious, we could easily have another couple/family with us. The house is clean, well kept, stocked with games, movies, pool toys, beach toys, and so much more. The layout and space of the house ensure privacy and plenty of room for everyone to come together and do his/her own thing. The house is within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and 30a (Rosemary Beach). There is a pool with the house, that is perfect for little kids to play in. The location is private and not on a busy street. It was fun to watch our kids, and others staying nearby, playing soccer and football in the street for a few hours after dinner. Finally, be sure to sit on the deck with a cup of coffee, cocktail or a nice book and enjoy the ocean view. We hope you and your family had as much fun as ours did on your vacation.

"We had perfect Family vacation at Giant's Rest. The house was perfect for our group. The pool area, all the beach items & toddler accessories in house were great! The walk to beach was a little more work with small kids, but wasn't bad. Owners were great to deal with also. We would definitely rent this house again.

Charming home - perfect for large group

"This is our second year staying at Giant's Rest for an annual beach vacation. The home was perfect, we look forward to coming again next year. We had 7 adults and 4 kids. Since the place is large - we all could hang-out together or go our separate ways. The house is well kept, there are plenty of "extra" supplies for use that helps. We loved that the house has its own pool. The walk to the beach is close - yet this year we did rent a golf cart. The kids loved the cart. the house is close enough to the 30A, walking/running paths, etc. The owners were helpful and terrific to answer our questions and help when needed. We hope your group has as much fun as ours did.
